• Authored two submissions to the Environmental Registry
• Coordinated and chaired a symposium on Preserving Ontario’s
Freshwater, held March 27, with 107 participants from all sectors
and many areas across the province,
• Developed a 25 minute power-point presentation on the
importance of Ontario’s headwaters,
• Facilitated series of seven community workshops on the
importance of headwaters, delivered in conjunction with 13 partners
from Elora to Peterborough in early 2010, and
• Coordinated and chaired a second annual symposium, held
May 11, 2010, on Integrated Watershed Management, co-sponsored
by Conservation Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Natural
Resources, with 96 participants

• Supported the development of cabinet submissions
on air quality issues
• Editor of a comprehensive internal report on Ontario’s
efforts to meet Canada-wide standards for particulate matter
and ozone
• Co-led MOE’s involvement in municipal emission
reduction, liaising with the GTA Clean Air Council and helping
to manage external consultants
